Sure do miss Bay Pines Marina! Those of us in the northeast part of the lake are huirting as both neighborhood marinas are gone (Pleasure Point and Bay Pines).  The owners Bay Pines were top notch and a pleasure to see each weekend!

Yep, agree. Gonna miss handy gas, smiles and pleasant people. I'm sorry the septic couldn't be reasonably worked out for a restaurant. Theirs was probably the last best effort to make a go of it there.

Bay Pines has reopened under new ownership.  Last weekend was their first weekend.  Septic issues have apparently been resolved or are being resolved.

My husband (Ashley) and I owned and operated Bay Pines Summer 12, 13, and 14.  We really appreciate the nice comments.  We already miss being there.  The folks we met and friends made have meant so much to us and we look forward to seeing and visiting with everyone out on the lake this summer.  Donnie McDaniel (Lakeside Marina at Blue Creek) is operating the marina at this time.  I am unsure of days and/or hours that they will be open, but if you are on this side of the lake, swing by support him and his endeavor.  We need a marina on our side of the lake.
