Saturday morning, at the rock,

two men in a ski boat.....with 5 or 6 children ages approx. 5,5,4,4, and a 2 year old girl?

YOUR AN IDIOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you climbed the wrong part of the rock, your children were at risk the entire time. Trying to climb with at 2 year old hanging onto your shoulder. EVEN TAKING that 2 year old girl up there. Oh yeah, pulling her up there by the arm while she's screaming.

and to top it all off... JUMPING with her in your arms.

fortunately for this event we watched, no one was injured. Can't wait till your wife see's that pic that was so important to take.

I wish I could show everyone else what we watched.... just stupid, one of those picture moments where it could have gotten really really ugly.

Who's to say there was no injury. The child could have nightmares for years about that. Emotional trauma is sometimes harder to recover from than physical injury.

That is classic child endangerment, and the fool(s) need to be taught a lesson.

Had I been there, the baby would have gone with me, and they might be regaining consiousness about now.

physical injury that we saw

and you know, when an adult, 6' male jumps 8 feet into the water, he and she were down, at least one second, we were just cursing, didn't know what to do, I had my cell phone out, ready to dial 911, and was already trying to think of the closest places to tell someone to meet us.

I didnt' know what to say....so..... Officer Gary, in the event of an injury at the rock, where someone is kinda mobile, what would be the best location to take someone to meet up with emergency services?????

did have a digital camera and took many photos, i'll get them emailed to me, and just for fun, post the pictures.....

if anyone has the wear-abouts..(is that how to say that) they can do something about it.

Quality isn't great, the ski boat dropped off the group, then backed up a little to take photos. The image quality isn't that great, but it you can locat the man on the rocks upper right middle picture, you will see the size of the child he was holding and jumped off the rock ledge to the left of same picture from.

His wife wasn't there because she was on the Sea Doo pulling 4 small (under 8) children on the tube pulling into and out of Pleasure Point Marina while no less than 6 boats waited to approach the pumps.

The best/closest place would be The Ridge Marina. We've had Alex City EMS meet us there on occasion. However if the injury occurred from jumping or falling from the rock you shouldn't move the person unless it's life threatening. Neck/back injuries are always a consideration.

First, did you read the rules of this website? No defamation. Thanks for being classy enough to honor the request of the website owner. Since you attacked me, I shall defend myself. Second, Barry is my name. I don't hide behind some stupid alias like tiva and my camera. That is me and my family at the rock. We go often and will continue to go every time we are at the lake...like thousands of other people and kids in the summer. Personally, I have never seen anyone get hurt there and I have been going for 30 years. I am sure there have been injuries, but they have injuries at the county fair and I still take my kids and put them on those rides! If you were so concerned, why didn't you just boat over and say something? You seem to have a lot of backbone when you use an alias and hide behind your computer. We thought you were a child molester taking pictures of the kids...you might be? In regards to calling the marine police...are you absolutely an idiot? They are there watching this evrey single Saturday of the year. Get a life! In any event, if you have the spine, let me know how to reach you and we can discuss further.

wasn't me holding the camera, i was the one holding the cell phone cause some idiot was taking a baby up the side of a rock. Regardless of .... hmmm your skills of climbing and jumping the rock, this was stupid.

Hey, but it you think endangering the life of a child is cool fun, then your not able to discuss this.

Endangering the life of a child? Man, get a grip on life yourself. First, the youngest child was 4 years old..perfectly capable of communication. Second, the child went approximately 8 feet high, which is about as high as the sliding board on the local city playground. Third, there was hands on adult supervision the entire time and ALL children had life jackets on! Doesn't dangerous to me. Do you have children? Did you spoon feed them and home school them until they were 21 in order to protect them? Do you put your children in a car and drive 70 miles per hour on the interstate? If so, you sound irresponsible and dangerous. I think I will turn you into DHR!
