We are looking at our neighbor's well-kept 1998 Sea Doo, 3 seater, garage stored, 180 hours, original owners, no maintenace issues for $3800 including the trailer. Is this a fair price? I read the posts re:PWC below so I know most of you prefer anything BUT Sea Doo.

probably a fair price assuming no problems with ski....another price factor would be the model.....GTX RFI for '98 would be top-of-line...other GTX models also desirable...trailer included should definitely put it in the ballpark of a fair price....I have a '99 GTX RFI and have really enjoyed it....the only problem I have had with it is the rectifier (keeps battery charged)...have had to replace rectifier twice.....part is approx. $120...all in all I have been happy with it...

Check the compression and DO NOT BUY a ski that has seen salt water.
