has anyone found and old blind black and white springer spaniel in the
sandy creek area? She possibly swam across the lake. Please let me
know. She will be 17 in Sept.

I saw a strange dog that possibly fits your discription at the end of my yard yesterday. Black and white and possibly a brown spot. Also was long and skinny. When I called to it, it seemed skittish and moved away some. I will continue to look for it.

Found my dog. She drowned in the lake and was buried on one
the Sandy Creek Islands. A neighbor found her on his shoreline.
She was 17 and had gotten really sick and only wanted to head towards the
water. We will miss her.

So sorry for your loss Bamagirl. It's good she was found and you could lay her to rest.

We have an 11.5 year old Springer, and we feel your loss. I've seen several Springers around the lake, and someone near us has a litter of ESS puppies now. We are so, so sorry, and know how painful this must be for you.

I am so sorry for your loss and delighted you have closure. The dog I found around my home needs a good home. One dog can never replace another, but she needs someone who cares as much as you do.
