Can anyone tell me how to get to Grand Island? There is an article in Lakeside magazine, and my kids want to visit the island & check out the treasure chest. I'm out of River's Edge and any info will be appreciated. Hope you all had a great Fourth. Be safe.

Do you know where Powell's is just past the cliffs going away from Stembly Bridge? When you right turn at Powells it will be the first Island on the right. Look for the Palm trees. You pull up on the back side of the island away from the main channel

Here's a map I made for a friend a while back. (click the link below)
This got me thinking- we ought to put together a list of sights to see / landmarks / things to do on the lake, assuming it does not already exist. I'm thinking:
Food:
Mikes Steak
The Boss Burger at Pier 59
Clear Creek Cheeseburger
Hangouts:
Logan Martin Dam
The Rock
Grand Island
School Bus Island
Beer Runs:
Lakeside Landing
Weird / Cool Stuff:
Goat Island
Religious Point
The Big House
Naked Sorority Girl Lagoon (OK, I made that one up)
And then, of course, your marinas, bridges, other islands, etc.
What else should we include?

Alright E I need to know where that last place is..............
Also add for food is Coosa Isaland Marina.... I believe they are open and it is BYOB till they get their alcohol license. While I have not been up close - their docking system seems to be limited and in need of repair.
Besides the "rock/cliffs" other places people tie up with friends is a good one to have to know where is a safe calm place to hang out.
I still think we should have a meet and greet somewhere one day whether it is on the water or around an island or what.
Also there is a Poker Run beginning at Pier 59 saturday at 10am.

Bruce (aka the webmaster) just did something like that for the lakemartin.com site. I'd bet if we asked him nice, he'd do the same thing for us. I haven't checked it out yet but look on the home page for lakemartin.com and see what you think. He was soliciting ideas earlier.

Excellent! That is great! I love to investigate the world. By getting arielle executive services, I become acquainted with various societies and the individuals that how they live. A portion of the way of life are fascinating to such an extent that I can't prevent me from composing blog about them.
