I heard a statistic from a CPA this AM that a small business owner with 13 employees will have to reduce to 12 employees to maintain his current profit level because of the higher cost associated with health care legislation in Congress.
The other statistic was that 1 in 5 employees could be impacted as a result of higher health care cost, Cap and Trade, and the termination of the Bush tax cuts.
All this is from small business entrepreneurs which are the sources for most of the new jobs.
I conclude from this that 10% unemployment under the Obama administration may be the new low. Forget about anything less than 10%.

It is pervasive. We all know something is not right. The “change” we voted against has vindicated our prediction and oh, how bitter is that proof. The “change” they naively voted for has turned on their children like a grown up puppy that everyone told them was unsuitable for children.
It is to the point where we all know good people who are out of work. It is to the point where we are holding our own money in reserve… which keeps people out of work. It is to the point where we just don’t want to think about it… but, we MUST!
There is a way out of this morass into which we have ventured. But, it will require the elders to buck up one more time… it will require the young to start thinking about the long run… to investigate the future. The instructions are well presented in the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.
It is time for the American people to take back their country. And if they won’t… don’t… it will belong to the Chinese. The global playing field is being leveled. America is the high ground from which the spoils are being raked to fill in the low spots.
Again, I say to you, “You are a sheep, a sheepdog, or a wolf. Get about your business!”
