Jobless claims

Even with seasonal employment, jobless claims this week was still 423,000 ... wow.
Lets all pray as we go in to 2010 that Obama does something right to help create jobs rather than just more handouts, to help all those people looking for work and those that are still losing their jobs due to Obama's failed policies to grow the economy and create jobs.
This should be common ground we can all agree on ... people need jobs, the economy needs to grow and Obama's policies have not created any jobs. So a prayer for all of that to change in 2010 is in order, and all Republicans, Democrats, Independents, Liberals or Socialists can agree on.

-Hmmmm....I don't think I agree. Yes , I would like everyone back to work, ...but I don't think I want Obama to do it. I's rather wait for a new congress and a new president.
-I believe that to get everyone back to work, Obama would have to temporarily act like a capitalist while still talking like a socialist. many people would then ultimately believe that it was his socialist agenda that got jobs rolling again. Thus he would be viewed as a savior, no matter what the non-socialists said.
-I'd rather he and his crowd continue down their socialist path to the point that its suicidal ending is so apparent to most Americans that it will be another 50 years before we are stupid enough to go that way again.
-I don't think it's the right's duty to help him and his crazy ideas become a success. I believe it is their duty to continue to show the anti-American (at least what I consider to be anti-American) or foolish leftist policies of almost everyone of his appointees from a "commutarian' (read death to the indiidualism) in charge of Health Care to a radical homosexual in charge of safe-schools to a communist in chagre of green jobs to a tax cheat in charge of teh Tresury to an idiot in charge of Homeland Defense to a terrorist supporter in charge of Justice to an empathizer in charge of changing the Supreme Court to...well, the list goes on.....

While I agree with your thinking ... I hate seeing people that want to work can't find jobs. Now I know liberals like GF are perfectly happy feeding off the government, but a high percentage of those out of work believe in their own liberties and don't want the government to take care of them.
