Apparently we are not the only country that has a stupid, inept government immigration system.
One problem of course is Political Correctness; say anything against illegal immigrants and you're accused of Racism; say nothing, and you have Fort Hood.
Another problem of course is corrupt, cravin, inept, or just plain stupid politicians, ---every vote gets them reelected
Not only should we kick illegal, American-hating illegals out, but every ethnic community that has illegal members, or worse --terrorist members, should kick them out. Otherwise, we will eventually have true riots of the majority.

Our County Supervisor in VA tried to do something about illegal immigration. We had a huge influx of illegals from Latin America. He put in place a policy that would require the police to check the immigration status of anyone that they stopped that they suspected might be an illegal. If they could not produce proof that they were here legally, the police would take them into custody and turn them over to Immigration.
This is what happened. First the Latin population in our county held huge rallies. The Chief of Police publically disagreed with the policy. The county was eventually told by the Immigration officials that they could not handle the number of immigrants being turned over and ultimately released them.
Until the Immigration laws are changed and they have enough officials and courts to effectively prosecute the offenders, I think we're just whistling in the wind.
My sister lived 20 miles from the Mexican border. She experienced first hand the illegal problem. People in Arizona really take the issue seriously.

The Australian prime minister has already announced (2007), “There is only one government in Australia, and it IS NOT Sharia Law.” The Australians have fervor for their country that has faded in America.
