Jobless Claims Jump Again

So sad to see that jobless claims jumped another 20,000 this week. While I do think the economy is starting to show some recovery ... Obama's policies are why it is still bumping along the bottom and we are not getting the robust growth we should.
We now have close to 7 million people that have been out of work for 6 months or more .... lets stand by those liberal principals and create more handouts rather than fix the problem with more job creation.
The stimulus failed .... that was suppose to keep unempolyment from going over 8% .... now we have stimulus 2 with what they call a jobs bill that gives businesses a 3 month credit for SS matching ... but adds all this reporting and requirements for a small some of money. This is nuts.

With nauseating regularity our MSM behaves like a willing accomplice - broadcasting with pin-point timing the prepared "fodder" emanating from Washington D.C's accounting cadre. Your average citizen, I might add, a large number who are on the public dole, fall for this bravo sierra hook, line and sinker. Our nation's leaders are pulling out all the stops, in an attempt to convince in particular, those who don't possess the ability to think for themselves, prosperity will be here before the return of next season's American Idol fall premiere episode. Reporting that our country created in excess of one hundred-eighty thousand plus jobs during March is basically, a half truth. Classifying temporary census jobs, which at best, may last in duration for ninety days, does not evoke confidence from those who work to produce that much needed profit for their employer/company. In the private sector, temporary census jobs would be classified as a cost center. No profitability will flow from the taking of our census, as a consequence, no benefit will be received by our society as a whole. We are close to the tipping point, it won't be long before anyone associated with running a profitable business will be publicly abased for not "sharing" the spoils of their success. The politics as usual crowd in our nation's capital, who lust for more power, see continuing government job creation as a means to the end. Unfortunately a large segment of today's population behaves like a mushroom, they choose to remain in the dark and subsist on a steady diet of bravo sierra.

The pretender doesn't know what to do. His political party and his advisors only have answers with a history of failure. As the situation gets worse... he ignores it harder.
So he engages in displacement behavior. Focus on anything but the pain.
The American people wait... in vain.

As long as Obama and the brain dead liberals are in power ... our hope for jobs coming back in the big ways like they did under Reagan, after the Carter experiment, or under Bush after the tech bubble bust and 9/11, are slim to none. We may see unemployment get back close to 8% by mid 2011 ... but second half 2011 and 2012 look very scary.
They are focused on everything other than creating jobs ... in fact most of the agenda will destroy more jobs.
The stimulus 2 (jobs bill) is a joke among businesses ... lets say a business meets all the conditions and wants to do all the extra paperwork and reporting .... hiring a $50,000 person will net them a $774 tax credit. Wow ! I am sure businesses are going to rush to add a bunch of employees to get that great incentive ... not! More wasted tax dollars, if they were planning to hire anyway ... they may take advantage of it assuming the want to do all the reporting to the Jobs Czar.
