A proposal by a member of the EU community. Everyone should have a right to a vacation when tax money being used.

When it gets to this country, just add it to:
1. Food stamps
2. Free medical
3. Subsidized housing
4. Free cell phones
5. Free diapers, baby food, etc.
6. etc., etc., etc.

We now have 50% who do not pay any federal income tax. Why should they be denied a vacation to Disney World, Callaway Gardens, or Atlantis in the Bahamas.

Who can blame them? When you get 6 weeks of vacation per year on average....at least for the one's that actually work, who could afford that?!?!? I can barely afford a couple of weeks a year of real vacation. Six weeks.....well that's just too much to expect a person to pay for themselves!

And that my friends is just one of many reasons why we do NOT need to be more like Europe......

Wing nuts are so jealous. Take a long vacation if you have confidence that your organiztion is trained to operate in your abcence. Red necks have the right philosophy... work until you have rent and beer money then go fishing...Don't look back later and wonder why you have grown old and never really enjyed quaility time away with the family. Those memories are priceless and may save the stress related heart attack.

someone that obviously knows and practices what he preaches.

I have no problem taking vacations ... it part of the job to develop and train your people so you have to only provide leadership and direction.
