I understand there was an accident at Chimney Rock. Do you report accidents?

We do official reports for boating accidents. These activity reports reflect boating accidents as well as other incidents that our officers assist with. No Marine Police officers were involved in the incident at Chimney Rock so it is not listed on the activity report.

At any rate, whether it's a boating accident or some other incident, this activity report will not release specific information about the people involved or their condition.

Question.
I was boating in Burk's Cove last weekend when I spotted two brand new NO WAKE markers. My question is, were these markers authorized by the Alabama Marine Police? If so, what criteria did this area meet to allow the aproval?

Those buoys were not approved by the Marine Police. They were removed Sunday afternoon.
