Have to agree with you on that one ... she scares me just looking at her.

Must kill her to see and listen to her messiah talk and act like a republican. His popularity is increasing as he embraces more logical policies that the republicans have been saying for the last two years.

Remember bouncing Nancy last year in the SOU bouncing up claping with all the liberal speach that drove unemployment higher and made the economy worse.

Even Obama is now talking about getting rid of parts of Obamacare.

He did not go far enough on deficits ... but it is a start. I did like the willingness to change the tax code. Is now the time for the Fair tax or a Flat tax?

I preserved my sanity and just read the highlights of his speech and I am pretty sure he doesn't mean any of it. He is not serious about cutting the deficit in any meaningful way. Seriously, he has raised spending to levels that generate annual deficits of over $1 trillion and he wants to freeze spending at this levels?!?!? We need to get back to 2005 or 2006 levels to restore any semblance of fiscal sanity. The fact is he assembled a much vaunted bi-partisan commission on deficit reduction and they proposed cuts that were four times what he proposed last night. And he wants to work on a bipartisan basis?!?!? He barely acknowledged his own commission and is ignoring their advice. From my view the commission did not go far enough and missed the mark in several areas but at least they were more of a step in the right direction than the President.

I could go on but suffice it to say this is all for show to try to get him reelected and once he is he will revert back to his statist, big government world view in both deeds and words. Forget Obama and focus on furthering our control of the House and getting control of the Senate with real conservatives instead of RINOs! If the GOP by some miracle actually puts forward a great candidate for President and the American people actually see through the Obama lies and the government media complicity and elects them then we can accelerate a return to sanity. Otherwise we will have to accept smaller victories and incremental progress until we can send Obama on the Hate America Speaker's tour in 2016.
