When LF, the nut from the Nation of Islam called Obama "Brother - What the Hel% are you doing" - Was the term "Brother" intended as a fellow Muslim Or as a fellow Black?

Both ... that is why Obama took so long to make a decision and then took off to Brazil with his mother-in-law, let Hillary run it, but tied everyones hands on a very limited role.  When the UK bombed Qaddafi's compound he wanted to be sure everyone knew it was not the US and would not target Qaddafi (as we should).

But have a police officer in Boston do his job and watch Obama be critical, watch him get involved with state affairs when he shouldn't, have a muslim start shooting in the name of Allah at a military base and he goes on TV telling people not to jump to conclussions.

Muslims will try to destroy from within ... he is doing his best to have america collapse and is doing it financially.  The only thing that has slowed him down is the past November elections.  If the american people fall for his head fake ... we will be in serious trouble.   We may be regardless ....

I think that idiot calls everyone "brother". WW-- you have been predicting that Obama will collapse the US since he was elected. Exactly when do you see this happening? And didn't your white hatted Republicans ride into Washington on their trusted steeds to save the day? When's the shootout at the O-K corral going to take place? Thought they were going to tell Obama that DC wasn't big enough for all of them and they intended to run him out of town..... Well, I guess he did go to Brazil... You know they say it's a sign of old age when all you talk about is gloom and doom. Just sayin...

Hey ... still have a few months until my 55th ... so I am not throwing in the towel yet.

Sorry I can not give you a specific time frame ... but i am not sure he had one either.  I do believe he does not care about the unemployed, he wanted all his socialist policies to become reality no matter what the outcome ... including the collapse of america.  I do believe the change in Novemeber has slowed him and he is buying time in hopes he get reelected and the dems (his puppets) regain power to finish the destruction he has created.

Do your really feel his policies have generated positive results?  Do you really feel people are better off since he has been in power?  If so, how?

I see higher unemployment, higher taxes, more debt, more government, less respect gobally, the risk of the dollar collapse and loss of it as the reserve currency, struggling economy, disrespect for the office of president, disrespect for the constitution, disrespect for the supreme court.

You may see it different, but not sure how.

I see a lot of problems, some of them caused by Obama, some of those started long before. I'm not happier than you about the way things are going, but I don't blame it all on Obama. I'm not happy with Obama -- I had much higher expectations for him -- I hoped he would be a transformational leader, but he's just a transitional leader. I'm just hoping that a real leader shows up. But, I don't see one, do you? I don't know what has happened to our generation. We were going to be different than our parents, yet in some ways we are much worse.

According to the head of the Dallas Federal Reserve Bank we are right now at the "tipping point" where we may be facing insolvency.  He stressed the need for immediate action to stem the deficits.  I would say that the U.S. becoming insolvent is probably not a good thing is it Hound?  Your beloved leader and the Democrat-led House and Senate have taken us to the precipice.  It will take some time to right the ship but I am optimistic it will happen.

How quickly depends on whether we send the Messiah on his Hate-America/Hate Whitey/Hate Christian tour once he leaves the WH.  If he remains and the GOP gets control of the Senate then it will be a little longer but at least it will not get worse because he will be an ineffectual lame duck President as opposed to an ineffectual first term President that outsourced his domestic agenda to the leftist leadership of the House and Senate.

I just don't see the Republicans as being the solution to all our ills. Nothing that they've proposed so far is going to make much of a difference, and they can't even agree within their own party; and they haven't been able to sell it to the Democrats. Everything that is going on right now is not just as a result of Obama and the Dems in Congress. We've been moving in this direction for a long time -- not only with domestic spending, but with funding these wars, and bad monetary policy. I think a lot of the problem lies within our culture itself -- we want it all and we can't afford it all. We've lost our will to do for ourselves. Just like people not saving for retirement (counting on SS to fund their retirement) or people buying houses they couldn't afford on their income and with no down payment. In my mind, the solution is not one party over the other, but it will take both parties working together to solve the problems. I'm not confident that this is going to happen.

Well we will have to agree to disagree because in my view the current crop of Dems, especially those in the leadership and the WH, will not be part of any real solution.  They are the problem right now.  Are there Republicans that are lukewarm to fixing this?  Absolutely.  But if you look at the freshman GOP members they are raising heck with the leadership to cut more.  But nothing will happen because the Dems in the Senate have blocked every serious effort so far.  And even if they get past the Senate the WH can veto and there will be no override possibility until after 2012 and we can't wait until them to fix this fiscal problem.

Hound, I admire your optimism but I will wait to hear what you say when the GOP proposes real cuts, especially to entitlement programs, and you watch as the Dems will go into full political mode with the starving Grandma, taking away your SS and so on.  Mark my words, that is exactly what will happen and my only hope is that you and millions of Independents will not fall for it this time.  Your support of the GOP if they actually do the right thing is our only hope.  They will get the support of the 30% of fiscal conservatives and the 25% on the left will surley raise all kinds of stink.  You Independents will need to decide at that point who is closer to being right.....not perfect, but closer to the right answer and you will need to vocally support them along with us.

If and when that happens, I'll be the first to congratulate them and all of you who have such faith. This is one time when I will be very happy to be wrong.

Got it. I don't have you on ignore. You are entitled to your opinion -- 22,000 people work in the Pentagon. That's a lot of people to hate.

Doctors and nurses will ask you to rate your level of pain, with 1 being a bother and 10 being unbearable.

To solve the looming insolvency, the pain will be tough.  At one time, say before 2008, the pain to the citizens would have been 1 or 2.  But now, because the deficit money is GIVEN AWAY… you should take that as irretrievable… the pain is going to be more like 4 or 5.  Bad, but we can live through it.  Older folks will take the 5 and middle income folks will take the 4.

IF WE DO NOT TAKE FIRM AND EFFECTIVE STEPS NOW, BEHOLD THE FATE OF GREECE AND WISCONSIN.  Our whole nation will be embroiled in demonstrations and wailing from the disenfranchised entitled class.

The future “ants” and "worker bees", our children and grandchildren, will not be able to feed the “grasshoppers" and "drones” of entitlement.  They will not be able to pay enough social security for the “obliviouts” of the baby boomer generation who neglected to save for retirement.  The Golden Goose will have been butchered and there will be collapse of entitlements, expectations, and hope.  The pain level will hover around 9 or 10.

Any Democrat or Republican who kicks the can on down the road is irresponsible.

Imagine the U.S. writing checks and China collecting the overdraft payments.  That is what is happening TODAY.
