Went last night. They have done a good job with the place. Very upbeat, energetic and, just plain fun. Met both owners and they were very nice and engaged. Having said all that, they definitely have work to do. Waitress' very confused on what tables were theirs. Had to tackle one to place my order. However, once I got her, she was one of the sweetest and attentive I have ever had. Food definitely needs work. The grilled shrimp was grossly overcooked. One should know when the bacon wrapped around the shrimp is jet black, there is a good chance the shrimp is burned. Hard as a rock. Twice baked potato was one of the smallest I have ever had. Cole slaw was tasty but, I'm hopeful they can't find a smaller dish to serve it in. It was all of 3 bites. I am extremely hopeful their liquor license is delayed further. I'm a sucker for their free, comped. wine and beer. Many others brought their own. The cheapsness in me really likes this. All in all, I really hope they make it. Seems like an odd time, going into the off season, to open a restaurant on the Lake. I will go back. Burgers looked really good. Oh yeah, I thought they were reasonably priced although, they might be pushing the limit with a $9.00 Hamburger.

I agree on the price of the burger ... a $9 burger, then you can get a 12oz rib eye for only $18.  The BBQ shrimp app was ok.  The place is somewhere to go when you want a decent meal, but not looking to dine.  Flounder bites were good, I like the light corn meal coating.  My rib eye was cooked perfect.  I also had the twice baked potato as my side, it was small, but enough for me ... my only problem with it was the mash on top was way over worked so the starch turned to glue.

They do not know how to time orders yet, we ordered apps and entrees and they came at the same time.  :(

People are very nice and are trying very hard.  A place like that I do not expect great service, just friendly people and you definitely get that.

I may order some wings to go to have while watching Auburn (hopefully win) tonight.
