You gotta love the French, they really know how to screw things up in their country. As predicted, the far right stayed home because Le Pen didn't make the runoff so now they have a socialist in charge. Let us watch what happens over the next several years. Too bad they are part of the EU because if Hollande only does half of what he has promised their economy will make Greece look good by comparison and French holidays will be cheap (assuming Oblamer doesn't outdo them). I think Julia must be a Frog and if not, they should make her an honorary citizen...... All I can do is watch and laugh.....
BTW, this could also happen here if the Ron Paul supporters decide to sit this one out. Exactly what Oblamer wants to have happen.

Greece will be out of the EU soon ... and as you said, if he does even a portion of what he promises, then France will be next to go and it will be the end of the Euro and each country can make or break it on their own currency ... which both Greece and France will be worth little and will most likely fail as did Argentinia under solcialist rule.
I guess these fools need to keep reliving history ... for some reason they do not believe that socialism does not work ... you run out of "rich" people to take from. That is why capitalism does work ... success is available to everyone and the sky is the limit. Good old Jefferson had it right ... a government big enough to give you something is also big enough to take away all you have.
It just amazes me that people want to let government get bigger and bigger to run their lives so they do not have to think for themselves.
Unless something changes in the direction of the US, the party will soon be over and then when D-Day hits, all entitlements will be gone.
As painful as that will be for some that truely need it .... it will actually provide a good lesson to others that there is no free lunch and what made the US great was hard work and freedoms with limited government.

Data already exists that the productive started fleeing France for more hospitable climes and who can blame them? What will be left is the deadbeats, government workers, the retired and illegals, who by the way Hollande has promised them the right to vote in local elections. If he succeeds you can expect that areas of France will soon be ruled by Sharia law.
Soon they will have laws to prevent citizens from taking their wealth out of France like most socialist countries. It is inevitable and a natural consequence of their electoral insanity.
