The United States must stay out of the insurrection(s) in Egypt. Foreign aid should be suspended indefinitely

a) so that our weaponry cannot be used for Egyptians to kill Egyptians, and

b) until the Egyptian government and people establish a peaceful government, and

c) until the Egyptian government and people prove to be friendly towards the US and her allies.

Hmmm… this goes for Syria too.

How many failures will it take to learn this with respect to Islamic nations in turmoil?

(If I were a betting curmudgeon, I’d say we’re gonna stick our nose in it again… and need toilet paper to wipe it off.)

So you think we are going to be compelled to stick our nose in. Maj, it seems as if we have done all we can to prove our present strategy doesn't work. I don't think the present administration will be able to not try again. I don't know where their advisors come from but they need fired and the present administration needs replaced. I hope you noticed, no where did I call them leaders.

WHY are we in the business of supplying weapons to Muslims (who vehemently profess to hate us) so that they can kill each other? The most violent faction wins. AND THEN, they use those weapons on us!

Speak like a wimp and carry a swagger-stick (the opposite of Teddy Roosevelt… and Ronald Reagan).

I remind you, Ronald Reagan was an actor who surrounded himself with competent advisors. Reagan was governor of the 15^th largest economy in the world before he became president. He did not have to pretend and he made decisions on good advice. He was also a veteran. AND, he carried a very big stick.
