Love the wall image… I’m surprised some political cartoonist hadn’t thought of it. GREAT SATIRE!

Architect – “BTW: Speaking of ‘airport’ security... I would bet you are a big supporter of the ‘no fly list’ and of ‘consealed carry’. So, where do you come down on the question of revoking the concealed carry lic of those on the no fly list? Just wondering.”
I am fine with the “no fly list” with respect to boarding a commercial airliner… if it is judicially and constitutionally sound. There is still a question as to how someone erroneously on that list can expeditiously appeal. But, anyone on that list should require intensive scrutiny if they show up at an airport.
If a person is on the “no fly list” also has a concealed carry the two conditions would not intersect until that person tried to board a commercial aircraft. There ARE people on the list who don’t even know they are on it. If ANY person… list or not… tries to board with a weapon or any deadly device… they should go on the “no fly list” until adjudicated otherwise. To me “brandishing” a weapon in the commission of a crime… is a felony. I would… I’m NOT a lawyer… label unauthorized carry of a weapon and ammo onto an aircraft as a felony… besides being stupid.
NO CONCEALED CARRY on an airplane. An accidental (or intentional) discharge could be catastrophic to all aboard. Put the piece, sans ammo, in your luggage.
