We're in the Sandy Creek area and we had a MAJOR rainstorm last night. I don't know how much rain we received because my rain gauge goes up to four inches and it was full. Half of my mulch is now in my front yard. We have water in the basement and it's time to start the wetvac.

Here at Paces Boat ramp area my gage showed 5.5", woke up several times during the night to heavy rain.  The "hollar" next to my place showed results of tremendous water flow. Lots of trash, limbs, leaves foating in lake.

We managed 3.3" up on the north end.  Started around mid-night and pounded for several hours.

4.83” here yesterday and last night.  About 3/4” of that before the downpour.  Another storm may hit this afternoon late....it’s just about to hit Demopolis now.

We got another 2.61” about 4:30 - 5:30 AM.  Can you say EL NINO??

Got an additional 2 1/5" this morning. 8" in two days-wow.
