That's real funny. Have you ever been to a Nascar race? I would guess not, because if you had, you would realize that fans at a Nascar race aren't any worse than fans at a football game. But I guess you think that all football fans are obnoxious, overweight, balding guys, right? You're probably into a more classy sport, like figure skating.

Went to my first Nascar race in Atlanta. Had a good time and met up with some old friends I hadnt seen in a long time. I dont follow it but the people were great and nobody hasseled us (cops) about drinking. Although we were probably the soberest there. It did get interesting in the last few laps. Al in al Im well on my way to attending all the regular guy beerfests. Ive been to 1. Nascar 2. Bike week 3. Biketoberfest and last but not least....4. Martigraw (probably spelled it wrong, my 13 year old aint home to correct it).

By the way, next time you camp one one of the islands, how about taking your trash with you when you leave? Some of us are getting tired of cleaning up after you.

Ok...Never and I say Never judge a book by its cover. I dont camp on the islands. I own a rather expensive home on the lake. However I do enjoy visiting the campers on the islands. They to are enjoying the beauty of lake martin "southern style". I pride myself on being able to carry on a conversation with a Plummer as well as a CEO. You however must have a prickly bush stuck in your backside. I have never met anyone on the lake who is pompus in any way. The only exception is teenagers at the rock with daddys expensive boat letting it drift right into mine. Imagine if daddy made them pay for damages! It would probably cost them a weeks allowance to repair the hole in the hull.

I never said you camped on islands; my response was CLEARLY to the poster called "Island Camper." Is it safe for me to assume that "Island Camper" camps on islands?
And I didn't know you knew Jake Plummer! I still think he's an over-rated QB, but I was glad to see he found a little success in Denver after those nightmare years he had with the Cardinals. Hey, next time you talk to him, do me a favor: ask him if he knows how to spell "plumber."

Is it safe to assume that everyone that camps on an island leaves the place trashed? - NO
Is it safe to assume that all Nascar fans are "rednecks"? - NO

NOPE TIVO.... we get along better than ever now. That Burran is not me. I have stated it time and again. He registered my moniker. Since I had no desire to register it is not a big deal.
Registering is a farce. Anybody can still use many names, as Burran/Boardcops proves. Someday when I have the time and inclination I may take it back, shouldn't be to difficult
