Wow, my first Memorial day on the lake. Will definitely leave the boat in the lift next year. Was much quieter on the golf course although, probably just as dangerous.

Yeah, happy to see it leave myself, although, I didnt think it was as bad this year. I had no close encounters with other boats and even out by the rock people seemed to remain stationary for the most part. I just hate how rough the water gets when there are so many "extras" on the lake.

I pretty much avoided peak hours. Took the kids skiing Monday morning. Figured with overcast sky and mist, not many folks would be out. Wrong!
Looking forward to next weekend hoping things are a little calmer.

Was at Rocks Sunday about 2pm. Though a lot of boats, thought the number was down from past holidays. I would guess about 30% off from past such weekends. Big day may have been Saturday, which I missed, since some people probably did not have Monday off.
