Greetings, I am new to the lake but have been a regular visitor to the forum for some time. Just recently purchased in the Bay Pine area and was looking to spruce up the cabin grounds with pinestraw.

Anyone know of a contact who could deliver a number of bails of straw at a decent price?

Think you would be better off to go to WalMart..or one of the other retail outlets...be ready to pay 3.50 per bale...delivered will cost more...dont know who would deliver

Hold up till next year, and when I rake my yard your welcome to mine for FREE!!!!!

We bought ours this year (for bham property) at Home Depot, about $2.00 a bail. Had to make several trips.

TIP: When picking up a bail of pinestraw..... take a good look at it for a snake, pick it up and drop it, listen.... if it rattles....walk away quickly. LOL

Call Floyd's Feed and Seed in Dadeville! Mrs. Floyd herself has brought about 120 bales to our house (same area) in the past month or so. You'll pay about $4 a bale but it was worth it to us to have it delivered(especially when you are buying it in bulk!!). Floyd's is located right across from Piggly Wiggly in Dadeville. Good Luck. Welcome to the neighborhood! It's a great part of the lake!!
