I understand that they put the "plug" back in the old dam at midnight. Is the lake full yet? I'm ready to put the new 44 ft cruiser complete with the four wave runner plat forms in the water. I can't wait! Anybody ready to anchor up at Chimmney rock this weekend? Wooo HOOOO!

Hate to be the bearer of bad news Bob. They put the plug in and because of all the rain we have had, the lake unexpectantly filled up to quickly. It is now at flood stage and Chimney Rock is under water. Please proceed north a couple of hours to Logan Martin and launch your cruiser and wave runners. Thank you. That is all.

Now Lamont, I know you are pulling my leg. Besides I already have a boat on Logan Martin and Smith Lake, and Lanier so I would have no need to move the new boat. I am getting so excited as I polish up the wakeboards! I can't wait to see the wakes I'll kick up on the new boat. Tell me where you live and I'll drop by in the new cruiser. I usually stick to the sloughs where the water is the smoothest as long as they accomodate the truning of a 44ft boat at speed...

See ya on the lake!

...and I have my SKS with a thirty-round clip just waiting for you to buzz my dock. Oh...isn't summer wonderful? So many targets...so little time....

An SKS is an excellent throw away gangster gun. They fit very nicely in an aluminum bass boat. I prefer and carry the H&K MP5 and the Wilson AR 10 for that little something extra. I also enjoy a nice Steyr Bolt action for precision long range shooting. If you are looking for a nice close range weapon, let me recommend the SW 500 with the 425 grain hornady custom. I think the 500 would sink a battleship.

Time to go wake up the captain and first mate for a nice morning cruise :)

In case their are any lurkers who don't "get it". This thread has been for entertainment purposes as I am sure Lamont and Mudpuddle agree :)
