Last evening I decided to enjoy pasta night at Niffers. Great deal, 2 for $10.00. Well it's been a while since I've been there on a Thursday night, and I'm here to tell you that I was disappointed at the portion received. I can remember month's back that the pasta bowl was at least 3/4 full. But now you only receive less than 1/2 full. That's a lot of empty bowl. Maybe they should downsize the bowl. The best night at Niffers is now Wednesday burger night. I hope they don't change anything on Wednesday. The service was great, the dish tasted great, but the portion was small. Any comments?

I too have noticed that the pasta portions have shrunk. I was there last Thursday for the 2 for $10 deal. In the past, I would have about half of the dish left over to take home. Now I finish it all. It's still plenty of food and well worth the $5. Thursday is still my Niffer's night of choice.

I have eaten at Niffers many a time. Occasionally I have had "issues" with the food, but overall the atmosphere & food has been GREAT! Could have just been a bad night or staffing issues--give it another try!

Don't get me wrong, I'm not downgrading the restaurant, I'm downgrading Pasta Night. I love burger night, and hope they don't do anything to change that. Wing night has gone up in price, but so has chicken prices.

Boy, am I ever dumb. I thought that with dollar beer, and $5.50 lunches, that Niffer's was my favorite restaurant. I was just there on Friday, and there was too much of that yellow vegetable in the mix (for me). Guees what?? After a "Nifferitta" I did not care. I am not that picky.
Since when iis it a porblem when the protion goes from 150% of what you can eat to 100%. Most likely, Niffer's was throwing away so much pasta, they choose to throw away less. Next time ask politely and you may get an extra helping. Just eat it all. I don't expect a restaurant to sell thre meals for the price of one.
