Not stating the fact that I (we) have been property owners for 37 yrs seemed irrelevant at the time of that post but seems pretty imprtant now! If it matters, we have over 400ft of water frontage, don't, and won't, ever live there and was just curious as to what the torrential downpours did to the lake as a whole.
Thanks Lakeshore, jlazc and others who FINALLY gave me the tidbits I was looking for. Now this scum sucking weekender is going to bed...:)

i heard of some seawall damage and some shingles being blown off but damage seemed to be minimal. Creeks are up and muddy.

I live in the Windemere area and was up on Tuesday and the water was as murky as I have ever seen it. I did not see any debris in the water but the main water as well as the sloughs were very cloudy. I suspect that it will be fine by the weekend when you and I return to the lake.
