Some have sent an email to Adem which is not even close to what is needed. This MUST be a collective effort to save what we have all worked for over so many years. Maybe nothing will come of our efforts to get this problem corrected. A bulldog method is the only way that might work. Don't let go until the answer is positive or at least answered. Please help by sending an email. It only takes a minute! On another note, I feel very deeply for all those that probably won't be able to get your boat in the water this year. Hopefully, again by collective effort, that problem will be solved. God bless, Kingfish

At an earlier posting, someone asked for a sample letter. Below is one. And Mr. McIndoe's e-mail address is jmi@adem.state.al.us

Dear Mr. McIndoe,

It is my understanding that a significant number of area citizens (and tax payers) are interested in having a public hearing conerning ADEM's position on the renewal of Dadeville's water treatment plant permit. Accordingly, I strongly support a public hearing before any action is taken to renew the Dadeville plant's permit (it expires 30 June 2007). I ask that the hearing be either in Dadeville High School or Central Alabama Community College in Alexander City. The purpose is to allow citizens an opportunity to ask exactly what ADEM will be requiring to get the treatment plant into compliance. The permit in question is NPDES Permit No. AL0063797.

Thank you.
