Have had both the Opelika chimney companies out to our lake house and I ended up using Luis to extend my chimney 4 feet, rebuild my firebox and smoke chamber and line my brick chimney last year. He is a craftsman and also a very nice person. Not the the other Opelika person was not but their price was like $3,000 higher or almost 50%.

Left our house open for Luis and he did the job, cleaned up and sent me a bill. No hassles or headaches whatsoever.

Both companies charge around $110 to come out and write a detailed inspection report, not sure if this includes cleaning (but almost sure it does).

Not sure where you are located, but I know there is a service in the Prattville area called Top Hat Chimney Service. There number is listed in the yellow pages.
