Very large tree in Little Kowaliga at the bend. Wasn't there last week.

We picked up a small tree under our pontoon boat traveling home from Jerry's marine. Never saw it in the water even though we were looking for junk. Have had lots of stuff float up to and by our dock.

Lots of stuff washing up from limbs to lumber. There is a lot of stuff still floating IN the lake too, so be careful when taking those first boat rides since 2006. It can be hard to see much of what is out there, especially on windy days.

I guess it's too be expected after this past year....

We live at the end of a slough that faces north so there is a lot of debris that ends up our way. This has included over the years an Alabama Power wire spool about 4 ft in diameter, a 4 x 8 piece of CARPETED ply wood, several pieces of large styrofoam for use underneath floating docks, some furniture, toys, floaties, boat bumpers, bathing suits, a telephone pole about 8 ft long etc etc etc.... when the property was bought in 91, the lake receded to reveal an engine block and two wheels (rim and tire) amongst other things. I guess Mr Manning didn't swim much! LOL Our neighbor, Mr Smith has a nice pile of goodies on the corner of his lot that he has collected over the years as well.

I thought Russell was the only polluter of the lake?
