How about this quote:
"Despite his longtime association with Ford, he said he won't be using any of the money to buy one of his former employer's vehicles.
"I worked for Ford Motor Company," he said. "I won't be buying a Ford product."
Mega Millions is a multistate lottery game offered in Michigan, California, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Virginia and Washington state. Jackpots start at a guaranteed $12 million and grow when no one wins the jackpot."
Gotta love it!!

In the article I read, he says this:
Sneath said he doesn’t have any big plans for the money, but noted none will go toward buying a big, new foreign car.
"I worked for Ford Motor Co.," he said. "I won’t be buying a foreign product."
That's quite a bit different from your quote, don't you think?
But like you have said, you don't proofread, so the occasional typo is going to slip through. And there really isn't that much difference in meaning between "Ford product" and "foreign product," is there? </sarcasm> :-)

.... from you Myth. He may still consider others to be 'foreign' cars, but you should have more sense than that. Go to Lincoln, AL and call Honda foriegn, go to Vance and call Mecerdes foreign, go to Smyrna TN and call Nissan foriegn, go to Evergreen Al and call Hyundia foreign, go to west point GA and call Kia foreign, and you just might get a different opinion on what a 'foreign car' is.
The companies may be headquartered elsewhere, but there are tens of thousand of folks right here in the good ole US of A that are reaping the benefits of those 'foreign' car manufacturers.

or are you just pathetically insecure? Is it really so important to you to win an internet argument that you will go to this much trouble?
Face it: you were wrong. It wasn't your fault you were wrong; your source misquoted the lottery winner. It could have happened to anybody. But the bottom line is, the guy said "foreign," not "Ford." Where OTHER makes of cars are manufactured has no bearing on the argument. And yet you have gone to so much trouble to twist things around that I almost feel compelled to let you win this one; otherwise, I fear we'll soon be reading your obituary in the newspaper: "Despondent man takes own life."
That's my last thought on the matter. Go ahead and make one more post so you can have the oh-so-important last word; that won't in the least change the fact that your original post was incorrect, and that everybody knows it.

"Everybody doesn't know it". I don't know it. I have seen two sources, mine and yours. What make you so dang sure yours is right?
As for me being desponent and suicidale. HAHA
I must have hit a nerve for you to get so defensive. Thruth is, there are VERY FEW foreign cars in todays market.
