Big beach should work but good luck getting to it on the 4th. You might want to get there early, like on the 2nd.....lol.

Where is Big Beach located? Is this a good campsite (outside of the 4th holiday anyway)?

Big Beach is on the south side of Woods Island. You will know it because there is a sign that says "Big Beach" hanging on tree. I don't know about camping there. I can't recall ever seeing anyone camping there but I don't go by there every weekend. I know that Youngs Island is posted no camping.

I have seen a few tents there, But it is so busy during the day I don't think I would care to camp there for a weekend.
