Theft from boat dock

Anyone besides us have anything stolen from their boat dock this past week. Some one helped themselves to fishing poles and a trolling motor from ours on Bear Branch. We can identify and will be interested to know if anyone is looking for specific modle foot controls because they left that behind or if anyone hears of someone selling one without the mount bracket and foot control.We did make a police report. Nothing I hate worse than a thief. We will be watching for our trolling motor on boats on the lake so if you see someone watching you with binoculars we are only interested in your poles and trolling motor. We are loaded for bear on bear branch from here on out. If you have no business on our docks, I suggest you stay far, far away from them.

-We have only been here two years, but never have had anything stolen from our dock...and that has always surprised me, given the easy pickings for thieves, addicts, etc.
-I wouldn't guess it would be much of a problem to just come up to a dock at night and pull off a boat, PWC, or anyting else.
-I guess we just have to believe that most people are honest and respect personal property.
-Ths others we just have to catch and .....

Had gas stolen out of boat on 2 occasions this Summer. 5 gallons each time.

If you look back through the post, you will see that earlier in the summer people had many things stolen. 5 or 6 docks had their whips stolen, as well as a canoe, seadoo, gas, fishing green moster light etc..etc...

we're in the Triple Creek area and have had our boat radio stolen out of the boat over the past two weeks. Why would any one want an old radio? Interestingly, the boat was just serviced thus the keys were on the boat when the radio was stolen.
