A friend of mine sent me a list of all the representatives in Georgia and only two voted for the plan. I decided to call two of the Republican Congressmen that voted against it. I actually got to speak with one of them. I encouraged him to vote for the plan when it comes back to the floor later this week. He said that he appreciated the call and has received a number of calls and at this time he plans to vote in favor. The other the assistant took the call and I shared my thoughts. I did ask her if she was getting a lot of calls and she said yes. I then asked if the trend is moving in favor and she said based on the calls right now there are many more in favor than before the first vote.

The best thing that happened for the passage of the bill was the 777 point drop. Did you discuss with him increasing the FDIC insurance and changing the accounting mark to market rules??

No I did not. John Lender he was very nice suprised he took the call when his assistant said she would put me through, it caught me a bit off guard, but was still glad to hear his position. But he is not on the committee negotiating.
