With the huge voter turnout, even the BO camp is starting to question the polls. Of all places, I saw on CNN that there appears to be a "significant" shift to McCain in the final days of the large percentage of undecided voters along with difections from OB as people start to understand his tax policy and the "spread the wealth comment".
They also noted that the visit to Hawaii and his birth records being sealed and the information released on the party he went to with William Ayers hosted by the POL leader has also hurt him.
They pointed out that BO has a strong support base that is turning out to vote, but the volume of undecided and anti BO voters are coming out in support of McCain that is creating the highest voter turnout in over 60 years.

Great News ! ! ! !
We need to keep up the effort to help people understand that O.B. is not understandable.
I have never beleived the polls since they are all so "scientific" and yet all of them vary wildly. I saw a spot the other night on the history of polling in Presidential elections. They said that there has never, never been a year where the polls weren't slanted toward demacrats. Also, never once have the been accurate. Yes they may have predicted a demacratic president but they were still off wildly by the number of points they would win by.
Keep up the good work everyone. Spread the news and keep on your family and friends to get out and vote and don't ever believe the press saying that it's over.

Very interesting memo recently by an Obama staffer that explains much. Their strategy from the beginning was to create the aura of inevitability through misleading poll results based on faulty turnout projections. They are counting on depressing McCain voter turnout. Some particulars:
1. Today, 1 in 7 likely voters said they could still change their minds. They are breaking to McCain in a big way with revelations about Obama's spread the wealth approach, his birth certificate and the LA Times hiding a damaging video.
2. She said they only relax when they are at least 10 points ahead and perfer 13 to 14 (hence Obama is back in Iowa where he supposedly has a large lead). They recognize that the assumptions about turnout are wrong and the Bradley effect is alive and well. Interesting side note, in the national polls over 80% of those contacted refuse to answer.
3. The black vote is large but young people are not voting in any significant way. They need both and the hispanic vote which is not going well given his position on abortion.
4. They pay people to troll blogs and feign changing support from McCain to Obama (did this in the primaries as well).
5. They pay people troll youtube videos and overwhelm with fake names and negative comments or contradictory comments to pretend huge support for Obama.

Not the first time you've pointed out that little bit of hypocrisy, and it isn't the first time that water-watcher and his cronies have failed to respond. Can't say that I am surprised, since he never responds to posts where he's asked to back something up, or prove a claim.

HOT ROD, please do some independent reading of the posts and you will see that we routinely decimate GF and Hound with facts and logic. This is a classic example of GF trying to obfuscate the original point with meaningless responses. The reason we would like to see the tape that the LA Times is hiding is to be able to conclusively point out to the American public that Obamination is a bald-faced liar about his relationship with Bill Ayers. I know, he's just a guy who lives in my neighborhood.....what a complete fabrication! It would also be helpful to educate our Jewish brethren about why al Queda, the PLO and the anti-semites Farrakhan and Jackson are all so enthusiastic about the messiah. He will be the end of Israel and when they see another holocaust by Iran they can only thank themselves for voting for the feckless Obama who will do nothing to stop it. Heck, considering the way he responded to Russia invading Georgia he will probably blame Israel!
McCain gave funds to an orgainzation run by Khalidi to promote voting in Palestine. Gosh, what a cad! Imagine the nerve to help promote the democratic process in the Palestinean territory. How awful! Now you know why we don't respond to some of the posts here, They are so silly and inane......gimme a break!
