Taking the boat to destin this coming week and wondering what all we should check out by water?
Crab island for starters...
What other bars or cools places to eat should we check out?
General location would be great!

Take a run down to Pensacola. Run outside if you've got a fast boat, otherwise run the intercoastal. Stay in the channel, you can walk across most of the water outside the channel. Stop in Navarre for lunch, or Pensacola Beach. There are a few places on the water with docks. Might take a run across the Bay to Niceville. Great boating area. Water's still cold.

Restaurants in Destin by water- A.J, harbor Docks, The Pilings, Harry T's, Nicks on the North Side to the right of Mid Bay Bridge. Old but good! I'm sure there are a million more down by the waterside of Sand Destin. Those are just a few oldies but goldies. We ate dinner @ Rick's Crab Trap located in the Seascape building on the beach with the bubble windows. Hard to find. It's on the second floor, but the food was excellent. They use to be at the bottom of the Ft. Walton bridge for 20 + years. We had raw oysters, fried shrimp, crab soup, gumbo, crab claws, Ribeye and everything was killer! The beaches were beautiful, but very crowded with spring breakers.
