It is amazing to me how those that worship and adore Obama keep talking about stocks rallying of recent as proof that he is doing a good job and his programs are working. NOT!
We are 6 months in to the year and we finally are back to where the year started. In all likelyhood we will pull back brom here 10-20% and will fight to get back to this point by year end.
I hope i am wrong because it has been nice to see some recovery. And while the liberals say tax more and only the rich are in the stock market ... the stock market rising adds to consumer confidence and people start spending again.
But with unemployment now at 9.4% (still waiting for the trillion dollars in stimulus to kick in) it is unlikely stocks or the economy will continue to grow any time soon. Many believe we would have been adding to employment by this point with tax cuts and true stimulus.
Interest rates are already rising even in a weak economy. I refinanced at 4.625 3 weeks ago and now rates are back to almost 6%. Sounds like we are headed for Carter years stagflation.
Once BO implements more marxists programs like government healthcare, we will be officially a socialist nation. Historically government controlled less than 30% of GDP, Obama has already increased that to 44% and once government healthcare is implements we will be at 53%.
Oil prices are rising (back to $70 a barrel), which is a big tax on those that are less fortunate ... yet Obama is talking about windmills and solar panels, while is says he "may" allow Iran to implement nuclear power ... but will not make it a part of the USA energy policy.
The guy is a total disaster to this country.
