I cannot believe that any member of congress would vote on a bill that he or she has not read. This is exactly what happened in the case of Cap and Trade.
There is a part of this bill called REEP. Basically, this standing for retrofit for the environment and energy. Why is this importaant? It will apply to all houses sold. The seller will have responsibility to be in compliance with REEP.
This means:
1. If you do not have a reflecting roof to reflect the sun's rays, you may be required to replace your roof.
2. A group of specialist will be responsible for performing the test such as heat losses as measured with an infrared sensor; air quality; pressure control to detect window quality; and on and on.
If our congress will vote on a bill that they have not read nor is not supported by their constituents, we are in for a mess. I'm still not convinced that we're not being led by Chavez's cousin and our congress is similar to that in Venezuela.
The latest thing is Venezuela is that all oil workers have to pledge that they are socialist in order to keep their job. Are there similarities in this country?

All we can hope for is that the polls keep falling from people realizing the destruction this man and this administration is doing, so we get a better balance in congress with the mid term elections ... then new leadership in 2012 to reverse some of this madness. Unbelievable.
It just gets worse by the day.
I did not even post about the weekly unemployment claims and what the spokesperson for Obama said ... first, weekly claims were at 529,000, which is better than the over 600,000 we were running. But we need to be "adding" a minimum of 100,000 jobs a month just so unemployment does not go higher based on new people entering the workforce. We are a long way off.
Second, the messiah's spokesperson came out after the claims and said we are seeing signs of a "recovery" (wow big news), but we may have to realize that the strength of the recovery may be weak and so we may not see job growth for another year.
Oh I bet that goes over well with the "current" 10% unemployed.

Ohio, another Blue state, today reported its unemployment rate over 11%. All time high. But don't worry sheeple, Biden says it's getting better, just wait until the cap and tax, second stimulus, Obozocare all get passed. This once great nation of ours is rapidly sliding into an abyss and until the media realize there is money to be made by reporting the truth, people will continue to give up their liberty to this administration bent on government controlling every aspect of your life. sickening.....
