What is the reason the Messiah is so determined to strong arm Congress into passing this awful legislation? Let me count the ways.
1. It will increase the deficit by trillions and they know it. Their deficit numbers are based on ridiculous assumptions of the 3%-4% growth for the next two years. Why do you think the White House has delayed their growth estimates? This plan will add trillions to the deficit, will kill small businesses, will wreak havoc on the economy and will result in the rationing of health care and nameless, faceless bureaucrats deciding whether you are important enough for treatment or just need to go home and die.....it's your patriotic duty, comrade!
2. The Messiah's approval ratings and index are in free fall. Recent Quinnipac poll has his approval at 49%. Rasmussen index at -8 and dropping. Also, poll after poll indicate a large majority of Americans are happy with their health insurance and a majority oppose a government takeover.
3. They lie about the number of Americans without health insurance. As I proved in previous posts based on the Census Bureau data the actual number of Americans unable to obtain health insurance is really only 8 million. So the other 292 million are covered so why not address the exception and not the rule? Because they are socialists.
3. The have no credibility with these, "It must be passed now or the world is coming to an end" pieces of legislation. Recall the lies they told about the first stimulus that not one Republican in the House voted for and only three RINO's in the Senate supported. The apocalyptic Messiah: "If we do not move swiftly to sign the [stimulus] into law, an economy that is already in crisis will be faced with catastrophe. . . . Millions more Americans will lose their jobs. Homes will be lost. Families will go without health care." Well it passed and all those things still happened. And what about his sycophantic supporters? Democrats said the impact would be practically instant. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D., Md.) predicted "an immediate jolt." Economic adviser Larry Summers said, "You'll see the effects almost immediately." White House Budget Director Peter Orszag said it would "take only weeks or months" to be felt.

and I heard the Republican proposal on CNBC today that addresses the uninsured, people denied coverage due to previous illnesses ... and the best part it is revenue/cost neutral on tax payers. It sounded very creative without a massive change. If that did not solve the problem, then you could always go back to the trillion Obama wants to spend. Chris Dodd was asked why that is not being considered and he said because the president does not feel it will work. So again it is Obama "agenda" that is being pushed ... NOT what is in the best interest of the american people and tax payers.
