I am not going to give you individual stock names, but the Pickens Plan is being included as part of an energy plan that is being strongly supported by both parties. Obama is behind it as well since it will make him the first president to cut imported oil.

So if you think this is going to pass, buy stock in any company that is leveraged to Nat Gas. Many have already started to move, but they are still well off their highs and have a way to run.

If you do not want to pick individual stocks (which will get you the best return) then buy a Nat Gas mutual fund or ETF.

WW, thanks for the information. Although his windfarm idea from Texas to North Dakota will probably meet with some opposition, compressed natural gas, I agree, will merit a great degree of consideration and research as a vehicular energy source. Chesapeake Energy or Devon Energy, any thoughts you might like to share?

Both should perform well. But of the two i like Devon more. Higher upside and less risk with more insider ownership and buying.
