Use a credit card that has a good rewards program, then pay the bill by the due date.

I was thinking more along the lines of a 1963 Corvair 3-speed on the floor? You know the one,, it always had oil blowing out the rear grill? Original Jerky.
Academy Sports has a complete line of Jerky-Making stuff, from hanging racks to seasoning. Google "How-To" then go forth. Good luck.

Our new oven has a jerky setting...haven't tried it yet, but thought that was cool feature.

I had a '66 with the 140 HP, four carb motor and a four speed transaxle... Kept viton seals on the push rod tubes, so did not have many leak issues, my cousin had a 110 HP twin carb, automatic - shifter on the dash, that was a different story. While in Kmart one day, an announcement came over the PA advising that there was a "silver and blue Corvair in the parking lots that was ON FIRE!!!" Good times. :-)

I assume you are thinking about a dehydrating machine? I have one, but I don't usually use it. I just put the thin slices of salted meat or chicken in the oven on 250 for about 2 1/2-3 hours. I make jerky for my dogs all the time.
