LMLPA Winter General Meeting

The Logan Martin Lake Protection Association (LMLPA)
will be having its Winter General Meeting at the new Lincoln City Hall in the
City Council Chamber on December 17th at 6:30 PM. This will give our
members and guest an opportunity to tour the new facility in which the city is
very proud of. This has been made possible due to Lincoln's new Mayor Bud
Kitchen who is also on the LMLPA's board and is the Member at Large on the
executive Committee in which is extended its use to LMLPA for this meeting.
We are very fortunate to have two speakers at this meeting that should be very
interesting to our members. They are Ken Meredith, National Flood
Insurance Program State Coordinator for the State of Alabama in which he will
give an overview of the FeMA Flood Insurance Program. Also we will have
Peggy Mann, executive Director for the Red Cross of St Clair and Talladega
talking about weather preparedness for winter and spring. We will also
have a state of LMLPA with updates on the various projects of LMLPA. This
event is open to all and will give an opportunity for everyone to join or renew
memberships to LMLPA so they can have direct influence on our beautiful lake.
