Anyone know where the downtown Farmers Market is?  I thought it started the first Sat in June, and every Sat after that that.  I have been downtown the last 2 Sat and no Canopies anywhere.

The Alex City Farmers Market has moved to the parking lot between the old city courthouse/jail and the old municipal building. This year they announced the hours were from 8 to 12 instead of the former 7 to 11, but the Chilton County peach truck folks told me they still get there at 7am. Just keep in mind that if you go at 7, everyone may not be setup yet.

I think the merchants off the Broad Street location were having customer parking issues during the Farmers Market. I think the closest place to park at the current location is the lot south of the old Municipal Building, but you could park on Main Street or at the shops across the round-about. The city buildings are on the chopping block since city offices have moved to the new facility so they will probably be town down.
