Took a quick tour around LM this today before heading back to TN.
Saw about 5 boats on the lake. The public launch ramps were almost deserted with only 1 or 2 trailers. No one at Anchor Bay, and saw a couple of folks around Chuck's. I hoped to ask a couple of questions at Anchor Bay, but nobody was there since the store was locked up.
Only a couple of cars at the 280 Marina.
Sure was quiet.
I know it was a Monday, but there was a lack of activity today with nice weather.
I guess everyone was monitoring the forum and letting their voices recover for the next weekend.

Many places are closed on Mondays...Anchor Bay, Sinclairs..
and school has start3ed back for some folks and next week will be more.
I was out and saw some folks at Chjucks, but only a few baots in the whole Blue Creek area....didnt find it too different...wasnt as much activity over the weekend so that means we didnt have as many leftovers on Monday

Mondays are by far the deadest day of the week on the Lake. We've never sold enough in the store or fuel dock to nearly cover our cost on a Monday. For that matter, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are not much better, but our bookkeeper is here anyway, so we leave the store open. Almost 96% of all fuel sold during the whole year occurs on just 26 days (Sat & Sun during the season, if it doesn't rain!)

I forgot about the school year starting so soon. I overheard some folks in AC who had stopped for lunch while shopping for school.
I can relate to weekends being the busiest, but was using old memories of the days I spent on the lake as a reference. When I was on the lake, it was busy up until Labor Day, but Mon and Tues were still the slowest days.
Maybe I'll get back before the water drops.
