I thought the "new" winter pool level was going to be 462'ish. Anyone else hear that? Although I've heard this for about a year now, the APCO site has the following statement:

"To conserve water in the ongoing drought, Logan Martin elevation will be approximately 2 feet above normal winter pool of 460 through mid April."

I guess the official winter level didn't get changed after all.

Inches is better than feet in my book and at the current level i could get my boat to my pier and not dilocate something trying to get out.

I hope someone else meets me at the meeting so i dont have to take notes.

with all this rain we have had over the past few weeks they should let it up another foot, lets vote on it.

All in favor.......?

I

Seriously.

462 is the new winter pool elevation per the FERC and Corps of Engineers with APCO. This is a "variance" in APCO's requirements. I have no idea if this is permanent or just for the next few years or even if it's just this year.

There was a major write up in the Bham news about it a few months ago and I think you can find it on APCO's website.

Peace,
