Does anyone have good cell phone service on Brushy Creek? Thanks.

I don't know where Brushy is but we now have cell service on Lick Creek. We never have before. I think maybe the new tower that was put up near the Hamby Mills Flea Market may be the reason.

We live on Yellow Creek off Old CR62 and AT&T works fine. We changed from Verizon due to poor reception.

I have been over a lot of the lake and so far I have not found anywhere that Verizon does not cover. Verizon has perfect coverage at Ryan creek, the dam, and good reception at smith lake park. I used AT&T but had to cancel because several places had no coverage at all. I think you will be pleased if you try Verizon.
Verizon will let you cancel within 30 days if you don't like the service.

When you get to the NW part of the lake - Double Springs, Houston area...

Not so good... Unless the recent changes have helped.

AT&T coverage is great on Brushy. I even tether my cell phone with my computer and get near DSL lite speeds of 200-256K download. Verizon is not too good around Houston, Arley, Double Springs. AT&T is iffy around the dam and some parts of Ryan Creek (at lake level, road level seems fine).

I have both Verizon and AT&T and where one is not strong the other is usually good but around Brushy AT&T is better.

Thanks. My experience is roughly the same. Had Verizon and had poor coverage on Brushy. Switched to ATT and it is fairly good where I am. My contract with ATT will expire soon, and I want to know if I have any options other than ATT - looks like I don't. Thanks.

There is an AT&T tower just north of Arley on HWY 41 going towards Addison. There is another at the Intersection of HWY 63 and 278. There is also a 325' tower just north of Duncan Bridge. I found all this out since replying.

How about White Oak Creek area. What's the best coverage?
