I'm heading to the lake on Wednesday and was wondering if the heavy storms this past weekend muddied up the water? And is the fall bite on?

I fished sunday and the bite was good with bait fish schooling in coves. However, the drawdown makes it difficult to launch your boat so be careful. I would have fished sunday but felt compelled to get my boat out of the water. Since then the lake has been lowered four more feet. The fish were hitting crank baits fished at about 5-6 feet around the bait pods. I sat in aone cove for two hours and caught twenty small bass and strippers. Big fish on the depth finder but my largest was about two pounds. Good luck.
