Just curious as to what others out there have for favorites as far as sauces/marinades.. I'm always looking for something new to try :)

Hope you will enjoy it and contribute as well. Kind of calm right now, so feel free to stir the pot some!!
Does your question refer to sauces for grilled/smoked foods or kitchen cooked stuff?

Thanks Mack! It's referring to smoked/grilled foods mainly.. but any input is welcome. I'm always experimenting and trying different things.. hoping to come across something different that makes you smack your lips just thinking about it.. ha!

I don't marinate much with liquid, but when I do I use Dale's. It's a good all around grilling marinate for chicken, pork and beef. When I'm looking for a more sourthwestern taste I use equal parts of salt (kosher), fresh black pepper, cumin, and garlic, a dash of cayenne to taste, plus a couple of lime's worth of juice and zest.

We rarely marinate a meat. Neither do we use a sauce when grilling or smoking. Just serve a sauce or two as a side with the meat. Obviously a pork sammich needs sauce. Then I use Cattlemen's Gold, a mustard base bottled sauce. Medium hot and spicy. Cheap too, at WallyWorld. Reminds us of the Tin Roof bbq joint in B'Ham, but closed recently. Blah!
