Obama Spending Freeze Sham

In yet another fine example of his cynical view of the American public and his disregard for the financial well being of the country his alleged spending freeze is a sham. First of all, the freeze only applies to 17% of the federal budget. So for 83% of the budget it is damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead. And keep in mind that the miniscule portion of the budget that he proposes to freeze increased 22% in one year of his administration or looked at another way, at a rate 6 times that of inflation. And that does not include the 25% increase from the porkulus bill.
CBO estimates that Obama's deficit in the first 3 years of his administration will be $3.7 trillion which is more than the entire accumulated debt of this great country in the first 225 years of its existence. Watch for his crowing about this tonight in his speech and then watch the dutiful, sycophantic government media ignore the truth and wax eloquent about his fiscal reserve.....
Where have all the liberal deficit hawks on the left gone after listening to their wailing and gnashing of teeth over the Bush spending?!?!? Don't bother.....I already know the answer.....

OK let's freeze spending. Great idea unless spending happened to increase by 30+ points so, let's "freeze" at this new rediculous level. But, the great educated American public and the main stream media will fall for it hook, line and sinker. Can't wait to see the speech tonight but, I am really looking forward to how the media responds. I have no doubt they will champion this as a miracle how our Commander-in-Chief has managed to freeze spending in these dire times.
