I am wondering if anyone in the Blue Creek area near Indian Shores or Longleaf has had any luck with an outdoor TV antenna?

Our basic Charter bill has gone up from about $20 to $25 a month. We are at the lake about one weekend a month in the winter season and most weekends in the summer, so we don't want to spend a lot more. I would consider a dish.

I have searched this topic and there have been some good posts about TV antennas in other parts of the lake. Any input you have would be appreciated.

You might get some helpful info at www.antennaweb.org ...click on "choose an antenna", then enter your address and go from there...good luck.

I know that DirecTv offers a vacation stop mode where they will turn off the signal while your are away and not charge you anything while it is off. A simple phone call to them will then turn it back on. Call back to turn off again when you leave. If you go w/ DirecTv, please email me so I can get the referral from DirecTv. I also have some other tips about their service too regarding how to get your local channels with them. Thanks! apemoore@yahoo.com
