Striper-no luck this week

Fished for stripers pretty hard this week and only boated one small one. Didn't seem to locate them, or just wrong setup. Tried Blue Creek, near Midway Island, near the dam and from the power lines post Kowaliga bridge. We almost exclusively troll artificial bait. Seemed to see fish consistently at 40', so we were just above that, but no luck. The one we did catch was on a free line buck tail we had out while trolling.
Anyone else had any luck? I'm curious as to the conditions you are see fish this time of year (depth, in creeks?, etc). Don't want to steal anyone's spot, just wondering what types of environments/conditions you're seeing them.
Thanks!

In my experience by late October stripes typically scatter and move from Kowaliga Bay up toward the river. If you have the gear, try slow trolling planer boards with live bait up near the shoals. Good luck!

Someone needs to tell the stripers to head up Little Kowaliga. Tuesday at sunset there were millions of shad on the surface, and nothing was bothering them. Even the schools near the rocky points were being left alone. They're just begging for a big stripe or some spots to come and gobble up the whole lot.
