We are looking at homes both at Lay Lake and Logan Martin Lake, can anyone give us the pros and cons to each lake? We are boaters rather than fishers

For boating, you may find Logan Martin less threatening. Lay has standing stumps, some just under the water.

Dear Corrvette,
I would say that Logan Martin is the best for boaters. Lay Lake has alot of stick up. That is old trees that were not removed before they back filled the lake, the old trees are still there, Their are called stick up. I fished Logan Martin for 14 Years and found it alos a good place to boat ride because of the reststops and restaurants around the lake.
