Why did some post get deleted that were made yesterday? From what I read of them, they were a lot lighter than some made about other subjects? I would like an email, or phone call with an explaination so that I might understand what you feel is appropriate.

A couple of mine were deleted, and they said NOTHING out of line at all. I figured mine got deleted because someone might have thought it was "advertising" on the forum. If so, that is not what I consider advertising. But, what do yall think? Does it appear to you guys that I attemp to seriously advertise on this forum? I am a paying $$$$ to the site to advertise in the adv. section. What do yall think? I am a big boy, yall tell me what you think. And I don't mean the thong panty post for feb and maverick.

I think you have always been very considerate of forum regs and more than courteous to forum members. In fact, you have been very instrumental in making this forum so interesting and lively....hope your weekend is a good one, CAT!!

and I stress "might," because it depends on where your posts were, and how discriminating the deleter is-- is that you lost posts that were under the offensive post.

I don't know how this board works, but I know of one that, when a post is deleted, everything in that thread that was posted after the deleted post is also deleted, not because of the content, but because the computer logic is that there can't be responses to something that isn't there.

But, that's another board; I'm just guessing that this one is set up the same way.

I don't think you do, CAT. Displaying comparative gas prices at certain marinas might also be construed as 'advertising.' We've discussed that before, too.

Uh, oh, I've tutored. Maybe by my creative and witty banter (LOL) and certainly my expertise in the English language (except for my faux pas about the articles 'a' and 'an' before a vowel sounding adjective), I, too, might be selling myself....and not the kind of "selling" some of you guys think about when you are in New Orleans....LMAO.

Hope you all are having a great Lake Martin weekend. Will be over there again soon. JAW

If a thread is in fact deleted on this forum, all posts within a thread have to be deleted as well.

This forum is not set-up to just delete a single post, has to be entire hread.

Hope this helps Cat.
